The Erie Firefighters Federal Credit Union (EFFCU) offers financial services and products to our members. And as the world changes, the EFFCU keeps striving to better meet the financial needs of our members (who are also the credit union's owners).

Share accounts (savings) are the most fundamental of Credit Union products. To become a member, all one needs is $5 in a share account. After an account is open, you can take advantage of any of our other products and services.

You can make deposits into your share account through ACH, the mail, in person, payroll deductin, or phone transfers.

You can make withdrawals from your share account by check.

We offer a good dividend rate on shares. Dividends are declared and paid from current earnings. Therefore, after an account is opened, the rate may change.

Today, the EFFCU is paying a competitive Dividend Rate on shares and share drafts that is declared each quarter and posted to the accounts the last business day of the quarter.

To earn regular share dividends, you must have a minimum of $100, no minimum for share drafts.

NOTE: Fees may reduce earnings. All shares are insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration.
